Dance Classes

2 & 3 Year Creative Movement & MusicParents are encouraged to join the fun in this Ratt-a-tat-tat Twos & Threes class. Children discover movement & music through themed weeks including instrument instruction, singing, dancing, storytelling & puppetry.
4 & 5 Year Creative Movement & MusicThe Movin & Groovin Fours and Fives use self-expression and dramatic play to enhance their imaginations and self-awareness. Lessons will help develop language & literacy, social-emotional, cognitive, physical and aesthetic development.
3-year BalletA thirty minute class for three year olds introducing dance vocabulary and basic dance skills to improve balance, strength, coordination, flexibility, and concentration.
4-Year BalletA thirty minute class for four year olds emphasizing more ballet technique and vocabulary, designed to improve balance, strength, coordination, flexibility, and concentration.
Ballet/Tap ComboAn hour long class with 30 minutes each of ballet and tap technique.
Jazz/Tap ComboAn hour long class with 30 minutes each of jazz and tap technique.
Boys Tap/Jazz/AcroIntroductory class for young boys incorporating tap and jazz technique and tumbling skills.
Intermediate Ballet/Tap/ JazzIntermediate level is for dancers with some class experience.
Jazz/Acro DanceAn hour long class incorporating jazz dance technique and tumbling skills such as cartwheels.
Hip Hop And Break DanceA 30 minute or one hour class of street style dancing with fun, age appropriate choreography.
Jazz DanceA modern take on classical jazz technique, incorporating today’s hot choreography. Dance like your favorite dance teams!
Contemporary DanceA contemporary dance class emphasizing free expression movement, rhythm and shapes.
Company Ballet/PointeAdvanced ballet technique class for the serious dancer. Pointe work incorporated at appropriate age levels.
Company TapAdvanced tap technique class for the serious dancer.
Company JazzAdvanced jazz technique with emphasis on tricks, turns, and jumps.
Company ContemporaryAdvanced contemporary technique and choreography.
Company Hip Hop/Break DanceFast paced street-style choreography.

Dance Costume Fee

Students who wish to participate in Gotta Dance performances must purchase a costume. Costume fees will be posted in September for each class. Gotta Dance strives to select affordable, appropriate costuming that can be adapted for different performances. We do not mark up costume costs - you pay what we pay!
